More Premium Economy for All Nippon
30th November 2007
ANA will improve products and services for its Premium Economy cabin. There is to be a Premium Economy counter at the airports, and customers are allowed into ANA business class lounges at Tokyo's Narita airport, London Heathrow, New York Kennedy and Washington Dulles airports.
This is an unusual perk - most airline's Premium Economy cabins do not allow access to the lounges. At airport without dedicated lounges, like Frankfurt, Paris, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago, passengers will receive vouchers for refreshments.
Premium Economy customers will receive priority at airport collection points, and customers arriving in or departing from Japan, will have the option of free delivery of one piece of luggage per person in one direction: to their home or hotel from their arrival airport, or from their airport of choice.
In the aircraft itself, ANA offers 38 inches of leg room compared to the 31 inches in economy class. In addition, noise-cancelling headsets, eye-mask, toothbrush and a large blanket will be included on the flights as well as the usual on-demand in-flight entertainment.
