New lounges in new terminal for Singapore Airlines.

Singapore Airlines' premium customers get new lounges at Changi Airport's newest addition, Terminal 3, to the tune of £10 million. Both lounges are centrally located and offer the best views of the airport, from the parking bays to the runways. The Terminal 3 SilverKris Lounge, located at level 3 above Departure Gate A1, is 4,000 square metres for customers travelling in the premium cabins has been designed and crafted by renowned interior architectural design firm, Wilson Associates, with walls adorned in fine marble and rich timber. The high ceiling gives a sense of space, while full-length windows allow customers to enjoy unparalleled views of the tarmac in peace and quiet as they relax in seats upholstered in soft leather.

The entire lounge is WiFi-enabled, and there are 36 internet and workstations are also available. An extensive range of newspapers and magazines is also at hand. The Lounge has separate sections for Business Class and First Class customers as well as eligible PPS members. There are 410 and 131 seats in Business and First Class areas respectively. Both sections come with their own dining areas, food service counters, bars, television areas, showers and washrooms as well as nursing rooms.

Customers using the First Class section in SilverKris Lounge will also have their own private driveway leading into the First Class Check-in Reception at Terminal 3, with porters to assist them with their luggage as service staff complete their check-in. Clearing immigration will be a breeze, thanks to a dedicated Singapore Airlines First Class Departure Immigration Lane, bypassing the main immigration channel, thereby making the process from check-in to boarding a seamless one.

The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, situated at Level 3, opposite the SilverKris Lounge, seats up to 154 customers. The Krisflyer Gold Lounge is designed around the Terminal's existing facilities capitalizing on its natural skylight. Buffet food stations and television areas are located inside, while internet workstations are conveniently placed in the outdoor area overlooking water features and greenery. Like the SilverKris Lounge, free WiFi is available at the KrisFlyer Lounge.
