Air Southwest launches Business Plus.

28th March 2008

Business travellers flying with Air Southwest can take advantage of a new package of benefits. The Plymouth and Newquay-based airline has introduced its Business Plus service, allowing passengers full flexibility as well as extra bonuses. Business Plus passengers will be able to change any flight up to two hours before departure at no charge, while also being able to use Fast Track security channels and most business lounges at Air Southwest airports. Further benefits include a 30kg hand luggage allowance plus a complimentary drink on board.

Today's development comes at the same time as Air Southwest prepares to double the destinations available from Plymouth City Airport and add three new routes at Newquay. From 28 April, the carrier will start operating daily from Plymouth to Newcastle and Glasgow, as well as Dublin and Cork. French ski destination Chambery will be added in December this year. Air Southwest operates four times daily from Plymouth and Newquay to London Gatwick (on the only BA route, which BA has since restarted), as well other scheduled services to Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Bristol, Cork, Dublin and Jersey.
