BA revamp Club World snackbar.

4th May 2008

British Airways have increased the food available throughout the flight in Business World. BA call it Club World - so it's appropriate that they call it the Club Kitchen.

Club Kitchen now offers a better choice of hot and cold snacks and drinks. You can take your pick from a wide range of brands, including Covent Garden soup, Fru and Duchy of Cornwall organic biscuits.

Hot meals range from vegetarian options such as Cheese and Broccoli Penne Pasta and Mushroom Risotto, to Sweet and Sour Chicken, Lamb Hotpot or Chicken Tikka Masala. In the chiller there's delicious Daily Bread mini sandwiches and rolls, Walkers Crisps, Sensations or Crips - a new, tasty baked wheat and potato snack with 70% less fat than standard crisps.

Other options with a 'healthy' bias include a luxury selection of dried fruit and nuts with no added ingredients. Or if you fancy a little indulgence, there's delicious chunky House of Dorchester Fairtrade chocolates.

BA have also reverse-enhanced (that means 'making better') the food for some World Traveller Plus passengers (those in Premium Economy). For those with a plane where World Traveller Plus is placed before the Club Cabin, most crew now do not object to premium economy passengers helping themselves, although strictly it is forbidden, and not a perk for these passengers.
