Singapore Airlines has opened a new SilverKris Lounge for its premium customers at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, in Bangkok.

It's pretty small - at just 313 square meters, and with just 102 seats. It features tall fabric-laminated glass panels, high ceilings to create more space and full length windows affording guests views of a garden.

The SilverKris Lounge is equipped with 50-inch plasma televisions, a small business area where passengers can work and a free Wi-Fi network. There are the usual papers and magazines. Food is mainly dim sums and sandwiches. There's a small bar with wine, beer, fresh fruit juice and soft drinks.

Located on Level 3 Concourse A, past the immigrations area, the lounge is open daily from 0515 to 2300 except for Thursdays when it shuts at 1900. It is however a welcome change from using Thai's lounge.
